kl dragons!

a couple weeks ago we got some free VIP tickets to see the KL dragons in action. the KL dragons are malaysia's basketball team. they play other teams within the ASEAN basketball league. we happened to see them playing the san miguel beermen.

the VIP ticket included free food and drinks before and during the game. i didn't take photos, but the food was interesting. fried rice with some kind of protein, noodles, spring rolls, some little puff, and little cheesecake bites. obviously, i ate the cheesecake bites. they also had soft drinks and beer. beer for free is a good deal, you know. i didn't partake in the free beer though.



the basketball arena, in its entirety. it filled up fairly fast.



i thought the beermen kind of looked like the monstars from space jam. mainly that guy all the way on the left. and they kinda acted like it too. they were all real moody.



we caught a little basketball, presumably signed by moala tautuaa.



they also had these dancers. our main enjoyment was watching the players watching the dancers.



there was also this awkward halftime entertainment.



it actually ended up being a very interesting game, going into three overtimes and over 100 points each! i think even the regular tickets are very cheap, so it's a fun weekend activity nevertheless. we enjoyed it!

it's been a quiet couple of weeks, but i'm super excited for what's to come because my best friend arrives in 12 hours!!! and there was a rainbow today. happy, happy!
